Product Warranty
LIMITED WARRANTY
CBMG warrants that all products that it distributes are material and workmanship defective-free. The warranty is valid only when the product was used for the purpose for which such product was originally designed and intended for. The warranty is valid for (1) year. Warranty begins from the date of shipment from CBMG. The above warranty covers only defects arising under normal use and does not include damages caused by accident, malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, usage not as per product instructions, acts of nature, or improper installation or repairs made by anyone other than CBMG or its affiliates to substitute functionally equivalent new or serviceable used parts. This Warranty does not cover bending, chipping, flaking, carbide replacement labour or shipping. The exclusive remedy for any breach of the Standard Product Warranty will be, at CBMG’s sole discretion and option, the repair or replacement of the defective product. Articles that the customer claims to be defective must be available to CBMG for inspection and evaluation. To be entitled to rights under the Standard Article Warranty.
CBMG shall not be liable for damage by defective materials or workmanship; is limited to the repair or replacement at its factory of defective article or part thereof, which may be returned to the factory, within one (1) year after delivery to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is also required. CBMG will be the only evaluator of the existence of any defect in the article so returned. No claims for charges incurred in the removal, disassembly or reinstallation of such articles shall be allowed. Products manufactured for consumer use on snowmobiles are designed for snow or ice only, use on any other surface voids warranty. The customer must notify in any event prior to the expiration of the applicable Standard Article Warranty Period. CBMG will determine whether the reported problem is covered by this Standard Article Warranty. If CBMG determines that the problem is covered, CBMG will authorize repair or replacement of the defective product, as deemed appropriate by CBMG’s sole discretion. CBMG shall, in no event be liable for consequential damage or contingent liability arising out of any total or partial failure to function of any article manufactured by it or of any article on or in which it is used. Failure of a user to give the notice to claim as to defect claimed under the provisions of the Warranty within one (1) year after delivery to original use, such claim shall constitute a waiver by a consumer of all claims concerning goods and articles. No express implied, or statutory warranty other than that herein set forth is made or authorized to be made by CBMG. All returned warranties will not be accepted without a return authorization number. Before shipping any product to CBMG, the customer must obtain a written Material return authorization number from CBMG and provide any proof of warranty eligibility requested by CBMG. Any product received by CBMG without a return authorization may, at the CBMG option, be returned to the customer collect. Once a return authorization is obtained, the customer is responsible for packing and shipping the product/component to which its warranty claim relates to a service facility designated by CBMG within thirty (30) days after receipt of the return authorization number. Failure to return the article, at CBMG discretion, be grounds for termination of the warranty and/or suspension of any future advance exchange privileges until such outstanding defective article has been returned. CBMG will provide the customer with a new, rebuilt, refurbished or alternate article of equal or improved quality, as an exchange article (or part thereof) to replace eligible defective articles (or part thereof). Any alternate article (or part thereof) will meet or exceed the specifications of the replaced article (or part thereof). Rebuilt or refurbished articles may bear cosmetic blemishes that do not affect performance. Unless otherwise specified by CBMG in writing, repaired or replaced articles (or parts thereof) are covered only for the remainder of the term of the applicable Standard Article Warranty.
All defective articles (or parts thereof) replaced by CBMG become the property of CBMG. CBMG has no obligation to (I) service, exchange or otherwise replace any article (or part thereof) that has been damaged, modified, abused, misused or overused as determined by CBMG or has been used with non-CBMG supplies or products that have caused damage or malfunction; (ii) paint, refinish, refurbish, restore or exchange any article (or part thereof) with cosmetic blemishes; (iii) service, exchange or otherwise replace any article (or part thereof) if the same would interfere with, impede or be redundant with normal or scheduled maintenance of such article (or part thereof); (iv) service, exchange or otherwise replace any article (or part thereof) that is within sixty (60) days of the end of its production life. If CBMG elects to perform any such services at the customer’s request, then such services will be deemed a service call and all labour, parts and materials used for the service call will be charged at CBMG then-prevailing rates.
ARTICLE WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
CBMG does not warrant or guarantee, and is not responsible for:
- Defects, failures, damages, or performance limitations caused in whole or in part by forces of nature, fires, highly corrosive environments, accidents, actions of third parties, or other events outside of CBMG control, or (B) customers abuse, mishandling, misuse, negligence, improper storage, servicing or operation, or unauthorized attempts to repair or alter the article in any way. The customer must provide qualified technical personnel to maintain and repair the article.
- Alterations and/or Modifications to any part of CBMG’s product, without CBMG written authorization unconditionally VOIDS the CBMG Standard Warranty. The article is built to customers’ specifications that are later found not to meet customers’ needs or expectations.

In order to replace products that may be deemed defective, the Warranty Claim Replacement Form (WCRF) needs to be completely filled and submitted via email to:
CBMG will contact you as soon as the WCRF is received. All returns need to have an MRA number. The MRA number is your Material Return Authorization Number, do not return items without the MRA number. If possible, please include any pictures
